Did you get my request to do a conversation show? We need to document your network story because its one of the great achievements in part 15. Carl, I am still willing to do that, I do not use Team Speak much. Perhaps an on-telephone conversation is possible? Or are you not able to do phone patches? Bruce.

Okay bringing this topic back on topic. This is a re-post of a post I posted over at part15.us, under the topic that relates to this here topic. Below is the post I made. Okay here is the real deal. A Facebook page post on the "Part 15 AM & FM Radio" page by Michelle Bradley from REC posted a link from REC The Title is: An FCC field agent told me that the operation of a micro-powered AM or FM transmitter under Part 15 requires an experimental license. Is that true? More reading at the REC link below: faq.recnet.net/index.php?action=artikel&cat=2&id=116&artlang=enShe also posted this statement on the Facebook page: Michelle Bradley Said: The rules never "changed".. it's confusion within the rules. Most people these days equate Part 15 with microbroadcasters. Part 15 covers everything from intentional radiators (items that radio transmission is their function) to unintentional radiators like light fixtures, etc. Someone who is truly doing an enforcement action will need to be able to cite the rules. Also, the FCC normally works on complaints so they should know what they are getting themselves into. End of quote. This was posted to the Part 15 AM & FM Radio Facebook about Thelegacy's claims that you need a license to operate any part 15 devices. The Facebook author's post was entitled: "Check this out....could NO unlicensed broadcasting(even part 15) be allowed in the USA?" Bruce.

You can say anything under the sun after 10PM as long as you're not describing having sex or describing going to the bathroom vividly. Profanity and indecent material can be broadcast after 10, just not sexually obscene material.
The Actual format of that station is Urban AC.
Music typically goes uncensored with usually only the more conservative stations electing to use radio edits. Rock radio in particular is not a fan of airing radio edits. Even in super conservative Texas I can literally count on one hand how many stations edit profanity out of their songs.
The fun one to watch is what songs are censored on the Classic Hits station that aren't censored on the Classic Rock station, both in the same market.

Things are different up here in Connecticut for some reason. The rock related stations such as WPLR 99.1 Hew Haven CT, WNLC 98.7MHz Old Lyme CT, Soft Rock WBMW 106.5MHz Pawcatuck CT, WDRC 102.9MHz Hartford CT, WMOS 102.3MHz Stonington CT, WHJY 94.1MHz Providence RI, to name a few rock related stations in my area never have played anything (other than the word bitch) in any of their on-air songs. I am not saying that is not the case in other market areas, but as for what signals I get here from Connecticut, New York, Massachusettes and Rhode Island, there are only two stations that broadcast a lot of profanity on their signals, specially after the 10:00 PM hour EST. There is another station WYBC 94.3MHz New Haven CT, that the community around here also listens to if they are not tuned into WWRX 107.7MHz, it also has mostly unedited music most notably after 10:00 PM EST, however their signal is not very powerful here in Eastern CT. Here is a list of Connecticut radio stations, where the genre is listed for each station (note: some of the radio stations in that list are LOw Powered stations and can not be received in my area): www.radiolineup.com/locate/Norwich-CTBruce.
