Very Keen DiscoveryGood scouting, Druid Hills, I confirmed what you discovered and have to think... If those guys were a military unit on a mission it could only succeed as a sitcom on television. What this tells me is that Pelham is an idiot. Why would someone who is attempting to extract money from individuals block access to his website? I am guessing that both Pelham and Bill have discovered that earth is flat and have sailed over the edge.

The whois records are identical for both, including the IP. Kind of calls into question the objectivity of the AM Shootout, as well as his reviews. Which is what I've been saying all along.

IIRC Pelham and a few other websites are hosted on the HB servers and the ban likely affects all hosted sites. Try seeing if you can access this website: www.bobgilmore.com/

There ya have it, you're banned on any website hosted by capitalradio.us. As for the identical Whois records, looks like a privacy protection proxy. Most webmasters keep the personal contact info hidden to avoid spam, I use a privacy service for my domains.

What is a hoot is I can view them on my Smart Phone and on another ISP I have at my disposal. They must be really paranoid. I will pray that they get the help they need.

Yes, they're all hosted on the same computer, with the same IP.

Turnabout Is a Fair Thought
Now that you mention it my new home web hosting as well as my radio streams are able to block IP addresses.
If they can't read what we say they won't know who to block.

You can block IP's in multiple ways. The most effective way is your router, but if you use external hosting it's unlikely you have access to that. Firewall software can be used, as well as other apps (such as web server software) higher up the protocol ladder. It all seems pointless, however, if you're running a public server. Then again, if you're willing to hide publicly available internet links, perhaps because you feel some ownership since you found them, then I guess nothing should surprise us.

If you host your own website or rent a virtual server with Windows 7 (or 10) you can use Peer Block to block Bill from your site.
However a VPN will unblock you. Even at NRR I can block IP addresses from admin if I think someone is trouble. However there has been no trouble at NRR.

Bill doesn't actually visit any of these sites.

Personally, I have to ask, why drop yourself (and the site) down to his level? Anyone should be able to read posts on this site. Bill (and anyone else) is welcome to do so at any time. If you want to make posts, you just have to join the site. And there are no skill testing questions to do so.

Which brings me to this question. If Bill doesn't visit this (and other sites), and thus supposedly doesn't care what is said here (and there), how is it that there are a number of people who have had their IP's blocked for criticizing Hobbybroadcaster?
His actions belie those words.

His actions belie those words. That's a good point David. For example, I have long been banished from his site. But it was long after that I was blocked from viewing his stuff. So there are possibly two scenarios in my mind. The first is that he does in fact keep a look-out on what goes on here, or two: someone who frequents Part15 dot US feeds him info. Just a thought.

That was why at first if you were a member of hobby broadcaster you would not get Elite access on the new radio Revolution site. And people didn't like that decision that I have made but it was to protect our members. Remember you have to watch out for narks.
