Worldround Radio Programs
Ideas for future programs are tossing around so I'll see what anybody thinks.
The Low Power Hour - The last one was several months ago No. 118. I want to do No.119 in the near future and hope to have at least two things on the show: 1.) Low Power In the News about the re-birth of the ALPB, which is the biggest story right now in low power; and, 2.) I'm right now inviting guest Jim Henry to appear for most of the hour about HBR (Honey Brook Radio), how it came about, the building process, and the future of the station. It can be done at the TeamSpeak Meeting Room.
Blare OnAir - The next scheduled show will be on the 5th Saturday of March at 7 PM EDT, noting that Daylight Time comes back March 11th. There's always an open invitation for anyone to join these special shows.
THE SUNDAY MORNING NEWS - The next two editions, No's 12 and 13 may be the last in the series, but that's not final. No. 12 should be posted by 6 PM EST tomorrow (Saturday).
Blare OnAir Lite - Originally intended to be a daily 10-minute show, in practice the mood to do them comes and goes but it's a hobby so no one can fire me. Might do one at any minute.
The Sad Music Hour - Based on an idea started at Part15_us in which sad music is the main topic, and we'll be doing at least one if we can hold onto the will to stay alive until the show is over.
Symphony Music - Is a series recently revived from the archive with about 33 shows and intentions to do a few more.
A New Idea That Might Go Over Let's Talk About It - It seems to me that because several members want an open forum where "Anything Goes" can revive, why not have a drinker's night at the TeamSpeak Room where we say it all no matter what anybody thinks. Of course the program would need to be FCC friendly for stations that air it, but it would be a chance to really lay it out.
Let me know what you think of that last idea, and would you participate?
We'll soon learn where the TeamSpeak server will be hosted... Bob Felmly said he might keep his server available, and Part15 Engineer said he would install TeamSpeak at his station in Denver where we might do some of these things.
We know that The Low Power Hour is the most carried of all these shows. We have 2 affiliates for THE SUNDAY MORNING NEWS, and even though Bob Felmly attends most Blare OnAir shows, I doubt that anyone listens to them.
