Yeah, a nice set of radios they have too, seems like someone who could have started by being a vintage radio collector. Every collector should have a Part-15 transmitter to broadcast to their own radios, great for listening and showing friends.
BSI Simian, that's pro level broadcasting automation software, automation and live assist, where an operator goes live, and queues their breaks in Simian.
He's running Unshackled! There was an AM station, no longer on the air, that ran Unshackled, it was a religious play, always with someone down on their luck and finding ministry, done in the style of old time radio plays. The station ran that, and International Prison Ministries, and they had a strong lobe toward the prison 3 miles away, wit 1 kw, and prisoners would listen in and write to the station.
Nice touch of class throughout WNAR's site. I wonder if he's a member of ALPB, or dread to think, other P-15 sites that possibly exist?

Druid Hills knows certain behind the scenes things not everyone knows but I also know about: "He's pretty much a loner as he has been hassled by You-Know-Who."
"You-Know-Who" is the lowest form of actor. When he becomes recognized as the agent provocateur he is, he goes all nice and good-smelling.
I so much want to see those hassling e-mails.
The man behind WNAR has friends here in the part 15 community I hope he comes to realize.
Becoming a loner is often the consequence of discovering how banal bordering on toxic some people prove to be.

It's a shame he got hassled, I would think someone who does P-15 is trying to improve the world and share, rather than just being a mindless consumer as we are trained.
Some people don't understand that and seek to tear it down, but you have to stay strong.

Its not just P15. Internet Radio operators are getting hassles too. One day these bullies will be put to and end. Wee have 1,000 Internet stations just ready to fight ASCAP because they overpaid ASCAP due to a software glitch.
Now you have wanna be Radio Police too just ready to stomp out Hobby Radio. Let them come to East Detroit and talk that trash to a Hobby Broadcaster and see how long it takes when Mr. Saturday Night special comes to greet them.

Top right on that link is the SAME RADIO my Aunt Kay and Uncle Wilbert had in Pontiac, Michigan when my uncle was Alive. That Radio beats the reception on FM of many of Today's Radio's even some of the ones I've mentioned in another post.
Yea this dude is cool in my book. Hope that Radio is in #1 shape. I bet he could receive a part 15 station quite a distance away. And if I remember it goes to 87.7 Mhz because I could receive Channel 6 in Lansing, Michigan quite will from his house right next to the Silver Dome.
I've always talked about that Radio and now you guys can see it.

Memory Down Through the Years
In the early years my parents didn't have a TV and even after I went to work for an FM station I didn't buy a TV because it was all radio in my life.
One day I was tinkering with the tuning slugs and adjustable settings inside a Zenith FM radio and got it down to Channel 5 where I could listen to TV sound.
It was a real thrilling experience to hear NBC-TV on FM radio.
