The next regular TeamSpeak meeting of The ALPB is Saturday February 18th. The meeting opens at 7:00 PM Eastern Time with general conversation followed by a short business meeting when everyone is ready.

I myself have been so occupied helping others as of late that it has removed me from my hobby activities. I wish to thank Carl Blare of KDX Worldround Radio for occasionally taking the Chair position when I'm not available. This is permitted per The ALPB Charter.

Thanks to Carl's notes, at the last meeting some ideas were kicked around regarding The ALPB Forum board. Some issues were presented regarding off topic posts. Some minor changes have resulted and ideas presented at the last meeting will be discussed at the coming meeting.

I'm happy to report in the last week I have received calls from two individuals requesting info to startup license free, low power AM stations. It's always nice to know people are interested in this type of activity.

Here's hoping I'll have time to be present at the Saturday meeting. If you are not a member and would like to join in, check out TheALPB.com for info on how to become a member.

I plan on being there. Yes we've talked a lot about AM since we've had members whereas FM is way too crowded and they wanted to try AM to see what would happen in their area.

Plus we even talked about some Radio automation software as well. All of which is important to run a good sounding station.

If you have an Android smartphone like a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, Note 5, S7, LG G3 Motorola Moto X, or any reasonable Android with some usable storage you can buy TeamSpeak on Google Play Store for a one time fee of $2. Its well worth it as when I had to change smartphones the license carries over unlike most computer software.

Hope you can simply add this app to your Android and then enter the server and pass and your in.

I just have an old school flip phone. I have numerous laptops and computers, a cheap android tablet. The problem is all my personal belongings is packed up tight to then gill in a rental storage garage the next island over.. and I mean packed tight!. There's also refrigeration equipment and ice machine maker and other restaurant equipment still in crates all crammed in there, and half the stuff would have to be removed out of the garage just to be able to get in far enough to be able to open a few boxes and look for specific items!
So you see, it's not that I don't have stuff, it's just that I have to wait until in a better situation to regroup and take everything out of the garage all at once.
On hand, I kept only some clothes, this Surface Rt tablet which is serves as both my "automation" and browser, a futon pad and bedding, a small TV, and microwave, and living in this little office space which my concession will go into as soon as I have an income coming in again to complete it so I can open it this summer.. it's a weird situation but it's getting me by until things are ready to go.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's the way it currently is for me!
