A Tour of Studios Gone By
Since the early times I have owned and operated studios and visited and worked in many other studios.
Studios are places of the creative arts.
There are art studios, photography studios, television studios, and radio studios.
If you shop furniture stores you can find a "studio couch".
Lately I have been dreaming about studios and wonder if this, the present day corner of a room called KDX is a studio.
Have we ever looked the word up to see what it means?
I haven't.

Now We Know Through Radio
Druid Hills undertook the task of finding the meaning of the word "studio". He found that: "Studio is a place to study."
That's not what we've been using studios for. Perhaps further education would have paid off after all.

So i had something to say about this post, but for the life of me i cannot remember what it was. I guess i will go to the study and produce a radio show...wait what? So a Studio Apartment would be a Study Apartment? I am confused now and will have to studio this more in depth.
I don't know where i am going with this but i sure hope there is coffee and donuts.

Study Acoustics for the StudioSome of us have operated music recording studios or recorded live music at home, and have come upon the tricky business of room acoustics. We've all been in concert halls or stadiums with bad acoustics and with any luck have sometimes experienced good acoustics. If you want the best here's the guy for you: The Acoustic Guy
