What Do You Think About As a Radio Station Manager?
These part 15 forums provide an opportunity for owner-operators of low power radio stations to share their experiences and thoughts. These forums are veritable convocations on low power management.
I know, I had to look it up too... a "convocation" is an "assembly or a meeting". So then what does "veritable" mean? I don't know.
PROGRAMMING is one very large topic of concern, because without it our stations wouldn't have any, um, programming. So let's talk about that.
Obviously we each program what we want to present to an audience.
AUDIENCE. Wait a minute... Yes, audience is another key element in the running of a radio station, but we haven't finished talking about programming, so let's not be impatient.
BACK TO PROGRAMMING - About 2-months ago KDX Worldround Radio began operating 24-hours-a-day which was made easy by the continuously growing amount of fabulous programs now available for our stations.
We step out the door and look at the world. Then we come back inside to find out whether our programming fully reflects that world. If we reflect the world we are a mirror. But is that what we want to be?
And that's enough management thought for now.
