Harmonic Below the Fundamental Frequency
On his World of Radio broadcast Glen Hauser reported on a weird signal detected on an unusual shortwave frequency which turned out to be a sub-harmonic of a WRMI transmitter's fundamental frequency. He said the sub-harmonic was 1/2 of the fundamental.
Sub-harmonics is a subject I've never seen discussed in these forums and must be unusual because over the years my AM and FM part 15 transmitters have never produced sub-harmonics.
What causes them?

Negative frequencies. The other half of the spectrum.
