Well At Least
The Cobra was a half-way decent CB transceiver.

Hey, I specifically ask him, so it wasn't exactly a strike. I figured of there was any question about the legality of a seawater ground with part 15 then he would be first to say so.. He said it was legal.

SCORE another point for the Hobby Broadcaster trying to serve a small community. Now all I got to do is buy a small craft at Stingray Point and I'd have a few great listeners on AM playing Album Rock. Don't know how I'd get Internet out there unless I used Verizon and maybe got a nice huge data plan and got donations. I could have a Spitfire AM transmitter in a boat and throw the ground wire over the side of the boat into the water. A nice 10 Ft copper pipe for the antenna would work nicely. Or better yet get a CB whip antenna and the ATU should tune well.

He said it was legal. Actually at first he said it wasn't legal because somehow he thought your transmitter was mounted on the mast. What I meant was he could not answer your post without quoting 15.219.
