The word "server" has many meanings and applications these days, and for radio broadcasters they "serve" to transmit digital program streams to the internet. Servers are transmitters. A recent development allows left-clicking on an audio file seen within a browser window for instant playback of whatever program is linked. (right-clicking will download the same file) We've been posting more audio programs as part of this ALPB forum site and have noticed that some audio links jitter, jutter, stutter and flutter while others play smoothly. What's going on with that? In today's test we are uploading three renditions of the same program at three different stream rates so we can observe the differences during playback. More than likely it won't give us useful information as the variations in playback quality may be an aspect of the listener's particular computer and internet connection. If you have the chance to test them please let me know your results. Thanks in advance.

All three streams worked well for me, no problems what so ever. However, i do have a slight irritation of the skin. looks like a burn and it glows in the dark... very odd.
