It just occurred to me that I haven't introduced myself, so.... ....greetings and salutations to all! My name is Matt Boland, and I am the owner/operator of "Radio Free Connecticut", which is a Part 15 station broadcasting in the Bridgeport/Stratford city line area. I'm not quite on air yet, as I am waiting to receive my transmitter (for my birthday on September 29th). However, I should be airing my station on 1650 Khz by October 6th or so. In the interim, I'm streaming shows for my station at us1.internet-radio.com:8006/listen.pls or control.internet-radio.com:2199/start/fairbol ....tune in when I'm on! The Radio Free Connecticut schedule, which will go into effect soon, includes music, political shows, sports commentary, pro wrestling talk (I'm quite into that), historical discussion, and shows dealing with science/technology. I'll also include community announcements and PSAs on the station. I love music, especially classic rock/pop from about 1973 or so to around 2005, with some later stuff included. As you can see, I'm a fan of pro wrestling (like WWE); I have followed it for many years. I also enjoy local sports, such as Mets baseball and Giants/Jets football, and studying historical events. Well, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. I'll be a regular presence on the forums, and in chat. Feel free to hit me up, and talk about anything! Sincerely, Matt Boland Owner/Operator, "Radio Free Connecticut"FairBolFL2003@yahoo.com

Saw you post on Facebook, Matt. Generally, Facebook is not a great place to get information about Part 15 (many of the posters in that Part 15 group do not do Part 15). This site,as well as Part15.us, has plenty of experienced (and real) Part 15 broadcasters participating.
What transmitter did you end up purchasing?
