Another sound effect, this is the real McCoy, not sheet metal being shaken in front of a microphone like on a foley stage although i have done that before with a reel to reel and some sheet metal. lol
The other night we had some more storms blow through Busy, Willard and Hazard,Ky and of course my wife and I were doing our storm spotting armed with a camera, phone and our senses. I must have lost common sense and was standing outside while cloud to ground lightning was all around me, one bolt of lightning struck on the ridge above me across the road, there was a bright flash and then a very loud crack of thunder.
The camera was rolling then and I stripped the sound off of that video to present to you as an mp3 to use in any way you like.
