The only thing holding us back now is that we don't have a green light in inventory. As soon as we obtain a green light we will signal the launch of several part 15 projects that earlier were talked about on part15(dot)us. As a matter of fact, we will be continuing the original threads as first started at part15(dot)us, but it's pre-mature since nothing yet has actually been done. Two of those projects include the Indoor Antenna Project and the installation of our first truly Ultimate Outdoor AM Antenna with ground radials. Perhaps later I'll add links to those startup threads over at part15(dot)us. Looking through our lights on hand we have red, blue and white, so let me get around to obtaining a green one. How is your station coming along?

My AM carrier current is still in limbo since moving to my new shop. My FM yardcaster is on and I was running the Talking House on an indoor wire antenna.
I'm still hopelessly lost here with piles of equipment, cables, books and so on. I just can't seem to get it organized. Of course it would help if I had more shelves or cabinets to put the stuff into.
But, I have my little space where this computer sets along with my audio mixer and a couple players so I can still function somewhat.
I think sometimes that I need to just pitch it all in a dumpster and start fresh...

Nix that.

Get realistic, Admin. You don't have room for a dumpster.

I'd not throw everything out that would be very bad. A while ago when I lived in our older house in Elizabeth City, NC I had a room mate that because a mouse got into the closet and then done its thing all over decided to throw EVERYTHING AWAY. Among some of that stuff was my $150 wireless mic and receiver for that mic. I was P'd. That mic had a very nice coverage and sound quality and not only this she threw away a perfectly good Radio Shack mixer I had that would have been nice for remote broadcasts or even if I wanted to do a show with myself and someone else as well.
I had tons of Hindu books too dealing with Metaphysics that was all tossed as well. Some of that stuff took me years to get and not to mention the money involved. Many folks just don't appreciate the time it takes to get some of this Radio equipment.
Hope you find some good old AM Transmitters that have good range in your stuff.

Carl hopefully you'll continue to work on your Indoor antenna and get more range than the antenna that comes with the Talking House AM Transmitter. I've tried putting the antenna outside and still only got 600 to maybe 800 feet if lucky. Very poor performance from what I heard and saw.
I know we can do much better than that. I'd hope to get 1/2 to a mile on this thing.

Being In Doors
I enjoyed your comments TheLegacy and about your lady room-mate tossing your stuff without asking you... well, women can be expensive sometimes. You could send her a bill.
Or, no, that wouldn't work.
For transmitters I have a good stock... 2-AM3000s, 1-AM5000, Ramsey AM25B, and I'll be building the high-efficiency solid-state transmitter designed by Radio8Z.
Another thing is I guess I'll need to test FM indoor antennas as well, which brings up the title I used up above... a door as an antenna (antennas being in doors).
