The linked article should alarm all of us and is MUST KNOW information about what Google is doing without telling us.
Makes us wonder if our ALPB meetings are as private as we think they are. GOOGLE LISTENS AND RECORDS

I'm always amazed that people think that ANYTHING on the Internet is private.
If the Teamspeak developers wanted to intercept conversations, they certainly could.
It's been known for years that Google captures and uses search information, mainly to direct advertising at you. But they could use it for nefarious means, much like Facebook does to influence and/or control. This particular article focuses on spoken searches (as opposed to typing) but the concept is the same.
Moving away from the Internet, cell phone conversations can be intercepted, radio transmissions can be listened to, wireless signals can be hacked into and even the wired backbone of the Internet can be compromised.
Bottom line, if you really want guaranteed privacy, speak to someone in person (and make sure that no one else is around) :-)
