There is a funny radio joke over on hobbybroadcaster which I wish to share now:
Kid says to his dad, "When I grow up I want to be a radio DJ." Father replies, "Well son, you can't do both."
Since the joke wasn't written by the teller it is therefore in public circulation acceptable for fair use, especially with credit given.
What I'm worried about now is that jokes will be "for members only".

Hobbybroadcaster is already a closed board.
To get access to much of the material on the site, you have to become a member (and be vetted). But even then, you have to participate and get 'ranked up' through some arbitrary process to actually see the material. That's fine for the existing members. But for the newcomers, as one put it, it's difficult to participate if you can't view the internet links surrounding most of the posts. I predict that unless that policy changes, most newbies are going to drift away, or avoid HB altogether.
As for the jokes, well, HB has already demonstrated that it's pretty much a joke.
