Hello fellow part 15 radio station owners.
I am working on a project that is closely related to Zara Radio and its ability to place the current time, current temperature and current relative humidity into your automation programming at your scheduled time frame.
I have a library of MP3 files that were originally created by a computer generated voice, that tells the time, announces the current temperature in Fahrenheit format and relative humidity in percentages.
I am working on an instruction manual that includes photos that points out the various workings of Zara Radio and the "events" section, which can be programmed to play these files at a preprogrammed time.
These files, I am talking about, have already been named the proper names and extensions to work properly in Zara Radio, with all the hard work already done for you.
Although these files, can be used in other automation software packages, the files needed for that software might require a different format or naming scheme.
I will keep you all up to date in this topic as to when the instruction manual is ready and is published for public viewing.
The time, temperature and humidity files have already been uploaded to this site and the link to such files will be made public once the instruction manual is finished and available for public view and available for public download.
These files when programmed into Zara Radio, are complete time and weather statements that are complete sentences in the English language.
Examples of each format is shown below on how the files announce each event:
"The current relative humidity is 75 percent"
"The time is now six thirty"
"The current temperature is 70 degrees"
The library contains enough range to cover most locations in the world without leaving you short, in other words lacking a file to cover your local area's weather event.
In this topic, I will take questions from anyone who needs help if you run into issues with either placing the files in the proper Zara Radio directory or programming Zara Radio to play out these voice tracks at the proper time.
More to be added as time permits.
Thank you for reading.
Bruce.
