Years back some home networking was accomplished over house power wiring, needless to say a very slow method, but avoided running network cables through the walls. When Wi-Fi came along it was the cure. Flash ahead to the present and discover using a combination of Wi-Fi and powerline networking to expand the possibilities. POWERLINE NETWORK + WI-FI

I wish my family wasn't so dependent on the WIFI here at the radio ranch, the noise that dam modem puts out is horrendous and makes Medium Wave, Shortwave and Longwave listening very unpleasant. I would rather string cables along the baseboards than to listen to that hash on my radio's, even my CB Radio is nearly useless.

My WIFI doesn't seem to be a problem but my data switch puts harmonics out across the spectrum.
First noticed as a data noise on several CB channels, I then found it all over the short wave also.

Noise Inventory
After reading all this I would like to do a "noise inventory" and make a list of everything that causes noise and describe the range covered by that noise.
Once the Inventory List is finished I can sit over there at my desk and wonder what I could do with it.
Uuuuhhhh...
