Very informative. On thing I noticed in it is the part about finding and stopping the sale of illegal and uncertified transmitters but how come they don't just look on Amazon and Ebay and see them there? Bottom line.....Hobby stations, AM(MW) is where to stay.
But if you are told that if you are outside of part 15 you need a license but it's impossible to get that license that is a contributing problem to the pirate issue.

Staying on AM is your best choice. A Procaster set up in a good location can achieve 1.5-2 miles and letting your listeners know about XHData, Tecsun, Sangean and Grinding Radios will help too and you won't be jamming other Radio transmissions.
I hope when AM is no.longer viable for making money the FCC gives us hobby Broadcasters 5 to 10 Watts on medium wave.
