I was hearing him, AM 770, I liked it when a woman called in talking about hearing Cousin Brucie in 1961 when she was a junior in high school, with all kinds of happy remembrances, it was a longer dedication, and right at the end she said she hated it when (so-and-so) fired you from WCBS, and Brucie said woah woah, we're trying to keep things on a happy note here, and cut to her dedication pretty quick!
Tony Orlando was after Brucie and interviewed Chuck Negron from Three Dog Night, he's always a good interview.

Bruce sounded just fine on ground wave in the truck. (about 30 miles) Listened to Tony a bit, he still needs a bit of help. Definitely worth listening to though..

Greta that you live that close and are in the groundwave of WABC's signal like that, distant listeners have to wait until near dark, and I have to wait until a more local station signs off 770, then ABC is there in the background, and sometimes they fight it out with their signals until sign off.
Cousin Murray is listening in Montreal on a Superadio II, coming in well there tonight, and he asked for Heart Full Of Soul. How about that, he's doing like Tony Orlando and having a guest, Neil Diamond, calling down from the mountains!
Many here should know the Superadio as having good reception and also good audio quality as well, due to a decent bandwidth and lower distortion detector than some other radios I've heard. I've used all three GE Superadios, I got a version I in 1979, but I exchanged it a few weeks later, because I really wanted a radio with cassette to tape and save music and programs on the air.

It's The Best Of Cousin Brucie tonight, Jan. 30, a recent one, mentioning Phil Spector's passing.
Band conditions are not so great tonight, getting some long fades.

Was good here with one or two fades. Jan 30th. How come it was a re-run? I get that station here in Toronto at 770 like a local....it might be at that. Have to wait till that signs off too. Must be a newer one as it seems recent.
