Listening to Brucie right now as I read this post, he's talking about the Christmas show and special guest, and there's another DJ who seems to be joining the team, we'll have to hear more!

Cousin Brucie could be part of it but it's probably because after the big fall-out, after ALPB Chairman Jim Henry passed away, most of the membership were tied to this Forum. Why? Because people are to busy to schedule a time to "talk" when they can check-in here anytime that is convenient for them.
TeamSpeak worked well for The ALPB during its formation. We gathered as a group to convey ideas and opinions in real time. And, it was a more personal form of communication. We are radio people so it was natural to "talk" it out.
Anyway, I keep the TeamSpeak server active (until Windows decides to update and reboot the computer.) I use it primarily as an STL to connect studio and live remote broadcasts to the transmitter site. But, people are welcome to use the "CUE" room to chat as needed.

Jim Henry, never forget, he was an inspiring guy, he'd take action and say 'Let's roll!' and get you excited about his projects. He worked with members all through the process of learning how to do radio and getting his station on the air, and when he said it, he did it, and showed us the results, the website, drone videos of his antenna, and the local newsletter announcement of his station.
That's not to diminish what others on the forums probably have going on with their stations, I'm sure we all put time in, but Jim was a computer native, from BBS days, who knew how to sell himself and his station, HBR, easily.

Question:. Has anyone connected to the TeamSpeak app lately? I ask because my Android TeamSpeak app will no longer connect remotely. It will connect when on my local network WIFI. However, if I'm away using my mobile data it won't connect. It used to so I'm not sure if the problem is the app or the data connection. I figure if someone out there can connect, the problem must be the phone app.

Maybe your router reset and the port to the internet was closed, while on Wi-Fi you're on the LAN, so you were able to connect from that side?

No, I checked all the router port settings. The LPFM site is connected OK as a remote site. Just seems my phone app won't connect unless I'm on my local WIFI. Gotta be something with the phone app or the phones Verizon service.

As far as TeamSpeak I forgot it due to the fact I'm in the middle of a Move.

There have been no scheduled meets but the server is usually available. Now and then it may go down but I reset it when I notice it's down.
