I leave the server online all the time. Problem is, Windows 10 does forced updates which cause the PC to reboot.
Apparently that happened sometime today, 7/18/2020, and I didn't find it until late as I was busy most of the day.
If anyone was trying to logon for a meeting, sorry.
I need to see if I can get it to load with Windows before I log onto Windows.
By the way, the TeamSpeak server was reloaded in the last couple weeks as it quit working after another Windows 10 update. As such, if you haven't logged on since that happened, as a precaution it will advise that the server was changed . Everything is good...

Those windows 10 updates did some havoc on my radio station as well. I used to separate sound cards one for the computer itself so that I can do my music and listen to what's about to be added to the catalog the other is for the transmitter itself when I broadcast. After the update I had to change USB ports to get my second sound card to run properly. This is a real pain sometimes when they do these updates.

Our playout system is Linux (Rivendell) to avoid this issue. Still trying to figure out if the baggage of a WSUS server is worth the headache for the other W10 machines, or simply defer and patch when convenient.

Nobody truly gets out of it once it's in your blood it's in your blood.
even if you go down to one of those talking house transmitter or for it FM transmitter you do a C. Crane it would be hard to totally get out of it.

Even going to a 1970s Radio Shack wireless microphone, or Science Fair broadcasting kit, or one of those junior science projects with just a 1.000 Mhz. Oscillator Can, transformer, power lead and antenna wire.

i've sold off most of the station but i did keep a broadcast vision fm and my eas stuff and automation pc. it's sitting behind my tv in the house. i'm just not doing it on the grand scale i was. everything including processing is done in the pc. i may invest in a procaster or rangemaster again in the future but the board hardware processing, etc has all been sold off.

Procaster has built in processing. Problem solved.
