Our low budget, opensource Network Video Recorder (NVR) is up and running.
Hardware is a leftover (OK dumpster find...) HP DL380p G8 16-Core Server with two E5-2650 processors. Had to buy 64GB of RAM and four x 1 TB hard drives in RAID 5, which gives us 3TB of storage. As budget allows, we will add more disk space to a max of 7TB.
