A few years ago a friend lost his job and needed fast cash. He offered me his AMT5000 which he said had been used only a short time. I told him I'd buy it and hold onto it until he was able to buy it back, sort of a Pawn shop deal to help him out. Well, I don't think he wants it back as he hasn't inquired about it since he sold it to me. I only powered it up once to see if it works, which it does. It would need a CB style 102" whip antenna or equivalent. If anyone is interested, message me and we can talk. _ _

That's a more elegant board than the other transmitter in a case like that.
The design uses a MOSFET biased in linear mode, and in series with the DC to the final stage to add modulation to the carrier.
The lack of transformers and LM 386 modulator chips should give less distortion and flatter frequency response across the audio bandwidth.
The Class E final makes a good selling point.
