One of our podcast hosts recycled portions of our haunted house set to make the support structure for the Auralex baffle panels.
Depending on how well they work, we may add Owens 703 fiberglass to the interior. Next step is to move the audio gear out of the road case and into a rack adjoining the mixer.

Your stuff always looks good. For my home studio and at most one, or occasional two guests, I've been thinking about a gaming desk, there are some nice ones with good surface area and open spaces for CPUs that could hold other equipment for radio, as well as space for several monitors on top.
I like the gaming desk's smooth edges with bumpers compared to an office desks sharp corners, better for a studio and moving around quickly and not getting hurt on edges.

Thanks - with zero budget, we have to innovate and make the most of what's available
BTW, I had used Arozzi Arena gaming desks for another project. UPS broke the rear corner on two of them, I picked them up for cheap at Staples (who wants a broken table other than me!)
I cut the damaged section off both, and joined them with a spline to make a table with symmetrical, rounded corners

The usual suspects were on site 04/13/2019 putting up a repurposed overhead truss to support video monitors in the CDL studio.
It looks bright and clean as it was scrubbed with a scotch brite pad and hot water before it was shipped to us.
Two additional (identical) 22" monitors salvaged from the local e-waste will go on each side. Here's the test fit of the left hand set.

Batman is a prop from our annual Halloween fundraiser. Sort of became the mascot of the group

You know what, looking at the gear I didn't even see Batman there. *laughs*
Cool looking workspace, futuristic, and ought to look great on video.

So here's two of our hosts, Dan & Rosie:
We are using a pair of Logitech C920 HD Pro for the talent camera (you can see one between Dan & Rosie), with a third camera (Logitech C922 HD Pro) as the room camera. Video control is the OpenSource (FREE!!) OBS broadcaster on a commodity PC. A re-purposed X-key XK-24 USB Keypad executes macros to switch cameras, and can cue the bumpers.

Kiosk mode, with the map displaying in Chromium, is that html to get it to display full screen, and also refresh from time to time?
I like the Raspberry Pi a lot, I have a 2 and a 3, and have done a few projects with them. I'd like to use one as an automation system for my station, if I could find a simple player that would do what I need, all file formats, loading playlists, gapless with overlap, shuffle play with hopefully jingle playback at certain times.
Right now I have a Pi-3 being used as a Pi-Hole, for web bug, ad and tracker blocking on my network. There are more internet connected devices than ever, and some browsers don't allow your choice of blocker to be installed, like game consoles or smart TVs, but the Pi-Hole can step in to help. I have it so you can choose an access point with or without blocking, you have a choice, like for visitors.

Can post the HTML and scripts if anyone would like to use them for their part15 station.
Once thing that bit me is that you must rename the pi if you have more than one! Ended up with the following naming convention: radar01.compdecon.local, the weather repeater is weather01.compdecon.local, and the clocks are clock01.compdecon.local, clock02.compdecon.local, clock03.compdecon.local.
Our firewall is a 1U, rack mount PC, running pfSense. Keeping the bad out, our info in.....

Saturday was a busy day at the CDL Makerspace studio:
With the assistance of the hardware donor, the location of the C band antenna for the HD NASA TV feed was staked out. With that in hand, management provided written permission to proceed with the installation
The team took down all four HP monitors and replaced the hardware with correctly sized metric hardware, and remounted the 4 Raspberry Pi that will feed the HP monitors.
Temporary network cables were installed for the monitor truss. Once the monitor operation is vetted during a podcast, permanent network cables will be installed.
Next project is to take down the overhead florescent lighting, and replace it with LED track lighting flown on Griplock suspension kits. Found 90% of the griplock hardware, new in the box at a flea market. SP

Update: One of our volunteers designed an improved monitor stacking bracket in AutoCAD. Bottom mount is a VESA 100 hole pattern, top mount consists of vertical slots,100MM center to center horizontally. This allows monitors of different sizes to use the same bracket. It has space for mounting a pair of R-Pi, with the mounting holes matching the case bosses. A larger clearance hole in the bracket matches the fan port on the case as well.
The improved bracket bolts to the Peerless DSF290 truss brackets with four M10 machines screws, and has a tab at the top for a safety cable as well. The new design works on desk stands, provided you are aware of the stack being top-heavy. PM me for the DXF file!
