Mram, Station8 are the Two who's worked Hard for the ALPB. Part15 Engineer stepped up after the slap in the face to get attention of the rest of the group to Do Something!!
Its like this if Station8 were to take Down all of the uploaded manuals, schematics their would not be much left out of the ALPB in my opinion. If Bob didn't help create the forums you would not have any ALPB it would be mostly all talk.
A social group with no bite!!
Association of Low Power Broadcasters is a great name. It sounds like a group that does a lot for Low Power Broadcasters sort of like Prometheus did for LPFM (And Bob did a lot don't get me wrong) the this No activist Group is what eventually choked this group from being able to take an opportunity to achieve something Big.
Without the motivation of Mram ALPB is but a pipe dream that goes Nowhere!!
Few will want to step up to the plate but the exception of the ones who complained in the first place. Maybe its time to form a New and Activist group with a social group as a side line to the group. I've tried with New Radio Revolution. But I've noticed many who attend these forums don't really want to do real political involvement for a change. Too bad because with the dying status of Medium Wave its a window of opportunity wasted.
I wish this forum the best we'll see how it goes. I"ve been talking to Red Horse about his High Gain antenna there is lots to learn from Him and he does not post on these forums. I hope to try and get him to join New Radio Revolution and talk about his antenna in the Elite Section to keep arguments from the It Can't Happen Club that hangs out on the other forum.
I personally would not be in the group if it were not for Mram he is the man who truly is teh driving force behind ALPB.
