Pass the weed
Now I don't use Stereo Tool, but I tried the demo a few years ago. I found it was a high power program with lots of settings, so you should be able to get the sound you need.
I have some general ideas, like using bass processing for beat-driven formats like those, that's what I'd be looking at, some part of the processing that takes a look at the low end especially.
One reason is that the bass can take a lot of power in the audio spectrum, not leaving as much for the mids and highs, so the station could sound quieter on the radio dial than other stations.
Another thing is beats can cause 'pumping' in the sound, something that radio stations found out in the disco era, when the music's sudden popularity caught stations off guard, and their sound systems weren't able to handle that kick drum so well.
Some stations like to do a little bit of pumping as an effect, to give more 'energy' to their sound.
You could try a flat setting at first, and play with it to get the unique sound you want or take a preset made for a bass format and modify it to taste. Take your time and do lots of listening tests.
I see you're streaming, then I'd recommend using little clipping, codecs can react badly to clipped audio and increase distortion and artifacting (swishing, ringing sounds).
