ALPB Fails All International Qualifications
The Association for Low Power Broadcasters (that's us) claim to be International in scope, representing all 400 countries of the world and their low power legal unlicensed rules, but we don't come off.
One member said "Mericans should speak Merican or be evicted". That makes no sense to say on an international web forum.
And, this applies a lot to me, many of us aren't very good at the one language we know which isn't even "Merican", it's English, which also means that it's a derivative of a European language. "Huh?"
On top of our language deficiency is the habit of continuously referencing "Part 15 Part 15 Part 15". Know what I mean?
So-called "Part 15" is a section of broadcast rules in the U.S.; "Part 15" has nothing to do with rules in any of the other 399 countries.
So tell me the ALPB is an "international" organization.

I don't think it's an international organization, it's a part 15(USA based) organization that also welcomes other members outside the US and is inclusive of the rules in their country. It could only be international if it was based in 2 or more countries.

Stations from Mexico should join. I have never heard what Mexico's hobby radio rules are, just about low power clandestine stations that broadcast for political reasons. Some sites have lots of participation from European countries, like Radiomuseum does. radiomuseum.org I thought we've had members from outside North America before. When stations from other countries talk on some forums, you have to also take into account where someone is located, or things can get confusing. Boomer

We Must Overcome the Old Ideas
Mexican people are wonderful as are people from all the South American Countries.
How can we be so stupid as to call them all "criminals" when the people making the accusation are the biggest criminals in world history.
Our biggest problem is that our own ranks contain racist fascists who support anti-southern oppression.

Actually, Bob, this thread is about the international nature of the ALPB, not Trump's immigration camps (I don't know where THAT came from). Part 15 is what most of the technical discussions revolve around (occasionally Canada's BETS and New Zealand's unlicensed FM service).
It WOULD be nice to get more information about other countries low power broadcasting rules. The Netherlands, as an example, which has had inquiries over at part15.org.
