There Are So Many Offers
This subject came to mind just now when Hulu offered 1 month free of movies and more.
As it so happens I would like to receive the "And More" part of the deal but without movies.
I have learned from past experience that vendors will never deliver "And More" all by itself.
Another persistent "offer" is the opportunity to sign up for regular e-mail updates about everything in the world.
What we have found is that the "opt out" effort never completely works and we end up with bushels of e-mails for things that just don't matter.
And those feeble attempts to grab donations for nebulous information available free in 200 other places.
Here is our offer... if you join the ALPB you will never regret it.
What could be better than that, other than marriage to the person of your choice.

Carl, I realize that you are using a point (Hulu) to make a point, but if you really want what is on Hulu (and more), you might consider one of the TV boxes I posted about on a separate thread. The vendors insist they are legal. That said I considered it too good to be true and only bought one as a cheaper version of a ROKU as you can use them to get Netflix, Amazon Prime (both of which I subscribe to), YouTube, Facebook, and browse the web via your TV. Well to my surprise I also discovered tons of content, all the major broadcast and cable networks plus tons of movies only available otherwise on premium cable channels. The FCC recently announced that they may go after the vendors of these boxes, but not the users, making me think that watching this content on one of these boxes is not illegal. For the 40 bucks USD I paid it has been a great value. There Are So Many OffersThis subject came to mind just now when Hulu offered 1 month free of movies and more.
