Interlocking Relationships
At many intersections I maintain relationships with surrounding wildlife.
I buy Eric Hoffer's claim that wild creatures are telepathic.
When an unusual jumping spider showed up on the wall I Wikipedied and learned there are over 5,000 species of jumping spiders. This one was black with a green spot and four eyes.
At first it hid, but eventually walked right onto the monitor screen and I cupped it, to be taken outdoors and released.
The robin's nest on top of my ladder is a yearly excuse for me to delay all work involving that ladder. The robins know me, I know them, and there's a friendly co-existence.
The curvy woman who hangs around is a figment of my imagination, and I think she wants to marry me to gain control of KDX Worldround Radio but I have been holding out.
