Following the crippling announcement from the Copyright Royalty Board that has already caused many webcasters to close their streams due to unmanageable rates, the RADIO SURVIVOR PODCAST has issued two programs on the subject. Program # 28 - "Will 2016 Be the End of Indie Internet Radio?" Program # 29 - "Royalty Rates Are Too Damn High" THE LINKThese programs are available to Part 15 radio stations. EDITOR'S NOTE -- Upon closer look we note that there is one Radio Survivor episode, not two, and at the moment their website appears to list two different programs with two different titles, but this might get cleared up at some point by corrections at their site. The holidays end later for some than for others. EDITOR'S NOTE 2 -- Now having listened to Paul Riismandel's excellent presentation, he brings in thoughtful viewpoints that further the understanding of the state of affairs for small internet radio in the face of complex new royalty circumstances. Well worth hearing.
