Outstanding Humanity from Democracy Now!This weekend's massive national "March for Our Lives" was perfectly documented by Democracy Now with microphones well positioned for stunningly touching and poignant speeches by school students. The resulting program is far more touching and impressive than I was expecting. DEMOCRACY NOW MARCH FOR OUR LIVES MONDAY SHOW

I'm surprised she wasn't able to work it in.

It Is What It Is
Druid Hills sets aside his bias about her bias: "One of the better shows in spite of Amy's LGBT agenda."
Think of how wild moderators would get if we talked about the LGBT agenda.
Best let it go.
Let them be.
Live and let live.
To each her own.
But I'll tell you whose voice has been manned up by hormone therapy. Have you heard Laura Ingraham?

Carl, you are a moderator...
Would you infuriate yourself if you expounded on that agenda?

Would I Moderate Myself?
Yes, I have done so.
Not too long ago I ran across something I posted that revealed the hidden truth about certain D.C. politicians and I immediately recognized it was not about radio, so I removed it. Now I can't recall what that truth was.
Many a day and night I have patrolled these forums with my Electric Cattle Prod looking for something to take down, ban, and forbid, but the members here are quite gentlemanly and leave little cause for me to intervene.
Can't some of you post something inappropriate so I can show the bouncer side of my temperament?

MRAM Almost Talked Too Much
He said, "And that's what I think."
Well, stop thinking that.

Thanks for putting us on to that Democracy Now broadcast, I got it and ran it at 9 pm. It was tough to listen to the pain, spoken directly, not through the filter of reporters in the news media.
At about 15 minutes in, during DN's national news rundown, I tuned into two other commercial stations with polar opposite views being discussed at the very same moment. They were both talk shows with male hosts in opening monologues about the March.
Something is going to happen.

While We're Talking About Excellent News ShowsEvery week the journalist Chris Hedges hosts a show called "On Contact" which looks in depth at an important topic. I was reminded of this by the naming similarity with another news show I complained about in the news thread called "Making Contact" which suffers from stupid background music. The Good One is On Contact
