Every ALPB Meeting begins with a roster call during which each attendee introduces him and herself (we don't have any female members yet but they voted me as "Female Recruitment Director"). Might I suggest that forum members at the twin websites part15(dot)us and thealpb(dot)com do the same at the end of each year. No, I don't mean you should all be female recruitment directors, I mean everyone should re-introduce them self as a semi-ceremonial annual custom. Allow me to start. Hello, my name is Carl Blare, group owner of several part 15 radio stations operating as Worldround Radio from the Internet Building in the Center of North America. I post on two websites combined in a simul-post-cast so that participants on both sites are included. Next... who are you and what part 15 project do you do? RE-INTRODUCTION LOOP SPIGOT

Hello, Bob Felmly - MRAM 1500 kHz and 93.5 mHz.
I've been a Part 15 operator since about 1962 starting at the tender age of 10 years. My first rig was a Remco Caravelle, an AM receiver and transmitter.
I also used a Lafayette KT-195 AM broadcaster as well as a homebrew, single transistor AM broadcaster. My early operation lasted a couple years.
Fast forward to 1997. Operating an in home recording studio I put MRAM 1500 on the air to promote our client recordings. Although the studio ended in 2010 the station continues today as well as the FM operation.
Between 1964 and 1998 I still tinkered alot with radio; CB, SWL, HAM. I have a HAM license, FCC Commercial license and operate our City AM-TIS and LPFM stations.
I helped Joe Martinez form The ALPB and am Chairman for the group. My hope, our hope, is to help others with license free, low power broadcasting.
Part 15 is an addiction with no known cure.
