Come to think of it WANT could be a call letter. Maybe it is.
But what I looked up, after wanting it, was WHIM.
It came to mind when someone used the word "whimsy" and I checked my vocabulary collection to see what else there was, finding "whimsical" and "whim."
Too bad though, because Coral Gables, Florida has WHIM AM 1080, 50,000 Watts lobed mostly over Atlantic waters, but neatly reaching the Bahamas.
My signal, by contrast, lobes mostly over street reaching the far curb.
