Sterling On Sunday
Walter M. Sterling does a national talk show every Sunday night which I hear on KMOX 1120 AM. I think he originates from Westwood One.
This guy really knows how to do a good talk show. Tonight's topic is "Landlord Horror Stories" and the calls are flooding the switchboard.
I don't know how he leans politically but it doesn't matter. I'd carry his show either way.
If there is a way for low power stations to get the show I will let you know.
Ha ha! He just explained why his speech is sounding mushy... "I'm eating a hotdog", he said.

Here's More About Sterling On SundayWalter M. Sterling's website has the same fun feeling that the show has. There are clickers for hearing the newest show and another clicker for listening to past shows. The one thing that's holding me back from requesting permission to schedule "Sterling On Sunday" is that my stations already carry more shows than I ever find time to enjoy. Walter M. Sterling Home

Really Good
Last night's "Sterling On Sunday" was a chaos of technical difficulties which made it very easy for me to enjoy. He couldn't hear the board-op on the talk-back, wasn't getting the other end of phone calls, the headphones were too weak on hearing himself but too loud on everything else, and as this went on he explained why women managers are so terrible... they are extremely hard on other women! And he gave the reason women aren't paid as well as men... they don't know how to negotiate!
Several women managers called in to defend their professionalism and he responded by offering them the job of managing his business.
Maybe I do have enough time in my schedule to air Walter T. Sterling. But he is on KMOX which is convenient, and KMOX has one other great show: Johnny Rabbit's Saturday Night Old Fashioned Oldies Show.
