i live in an apartment and have a detached garage about 500 ft away from
my apartment. it's just on the fringes of my cordless phone so it is hit
or miss out there. i do have an existing 900 mhz wireless ip link going
out there for my camera system. what i want to do is extend my PSTN
lines out to the garage. i have two.
it is my understanding that there was a way to extend PSTN lines over an
IP link using those linksys SIP / VoIP Adapters. i seem to recall a few
conversations here on that subject where stations had a remote TX site
and need phone service at the site and that seem to be a solution.
i just don't know how i would set it all up.
can anyone help me with this?
