My Station Has Gotten Out of Hand
Since Day 1 KDX Worldround Radio has been growing. Today it has become so complex that I'm unable to keep track of everything that's going on.
But I have a plan. A good plan, and I'll share it with members of the ALPB.
I'm going to phone the local criminal court and speak with the judge. I'll ask him or her to make working at KDX part of the community service that convicted people are sentenced to fulfill.
If the call goes well I'll ask the judge to especially sentence women convicts to work long hours both on and off the air.
Somehow this thread has turned into a fantasy. Maybe part 15 radio was a fantasy all along.

All Hobbies Are Fantasy
But I have recently announced that I am no longer a radio hobbyist. From now on a house radio station is a home appliance, like a refrigerator or a furnace.
Real estate agents should make their "Talking House Point-of-Sale Transmitter" part of the deal...
If this idea of "a transmitter in every house" actually caught on, we could all listen to each other's house and find out what the neighbors are into... i.e., house 3940 likes square dance tunes, 3801 plays Christian rock, No. 3803 is off the air after trying to capture the home bowling alley in stereo and rolled the ball right into the transmitter.
The loss of the SSTran transmitters, the best AM kits ever made, is a huge setback for home radio.
Those certified transmitters should do more than 100 mW for their high price-tag.
The F.C.C. is a disgrace now that they no longer function as a trustee of the public.
