That Is What Radio Is
If every station was honest they'd all have programming like that.
I hope the owner came to his senses and hired everybody back.

It reminds me of the movie "FM," made when the FM radio business was the rising star and filled with colorful personalities. I don't know what incidents they based the movie on, but it's a fun comedy drama that I recommend to every radio person.
There's also a TV sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, which is all comedy, but took incidents in real radio as inspiration, like the Turkey Drop episode. I'll have to see some of those again, I used to like it.
I've heard some honesty on the radio, from weeping hosts, and the story about a local DJ who locked himself in the studios and wouldn't let other shows on. I don't know what he went off about, but it was a community station so it probably wasn't a stunt.
KRUD is also a comedy bit with host Ashley Roachclip, that I've heard on late night shows over the years.
KRUD's a nice clean site design too, refreshing to view after some of today's pages with all the extra krud on them.
