The handy Flash Players on many of our web sites have made it easy for listeners to hear our streaming stations, but the end of Flash Players has been announced, and although many websites still host Flash video and audio they are slowly making the change to something newer.
From what I know so far the next generation audio players will be HTML5 types.
It is time to find out what's available and finally make the transition.
What are you using to replace Flash Audio Players?

I know, it's been an issue, and most of my computers don't even show the Flash players any longer as updates have happened, so I don't even see the Flash players on my own site, where I placed them in the page! What I've done is to also use an HTML 5 player, hooked to the very same stream that the Flash one is, a painless upgrade. There are some slight issues where audio can get stuck in the buffer, causing listeners to reload, which doesn't always help, and they have to just let it play out for a minute or two to get replaced by the real time stream, but Flash can do that too. HTML 5 is great, it's 'freeing the internet,' and I want to start up a stream with Icecast, and BUTT, which you've suggested, with Opus codec at a lower bitrate, for the next wave after this wave away from Flash..
