Sounds like the competition didn't like their station I'd like to know how high the transmitter was from the ground to get the range and how long was that ground? Maybe the brand of transmitter too would be nice to know.

Don't know how high their transmitter might have been from the Holland Tunnel, but if you watch the videos of those newscast, you see their other ones was mounted high above the hat of the Marlboro Man Build board, and others up above the Kentucky Fried Chicken sign. So I would presume the one at the tunnel was mounted high too. As for the brand of the transmitter, all I know is that they were constructed by the creator of the Talking House transmitters.. You get a couple glimpses of the transmitters they used in the video - One looks like it might have been a Talking House, the other looked like something totally different.
One things for sure, during the early 1970's long grounds were apparently not enforced as much!
