As radio technicians we already know how to convert vinyl records to digital by using whatever turntable we have, but for people who don't know how easy it is, they can buy this conversion turntable.

those cheap conversion turntables are not good for converting to mp3 their is too much rumble on them that will be amplified by the mp3 normalization process. it's better to use a high quality turntable with a quality broadcast grade preamp and a quality broadcast grade sound card and a program such as audacity or adobe to record it to wav.

This was a while ago now. 10 or 12 years ago?
