A recent article in Radio Magazine talked about battery heated jackets used by transmitter engineers that get called into remote and desolate locations to solve tower site complications.
The jackets warm the body for up to 12-hours on a charge.
Further search reveals a whole line of battery heated clothing including boots, pants, and probably underwear.
Here at Worldround Radio things like snow removal and even yard work could be much improved with heated clothing.
Even indoors, sitting here at the keyboard, household heating bills could be lowered by using clothing instead of furnaces to warm things up.
Are you on top of this technology? We think it is probably something we should adapt since we are so smart.
Heated hats for hot heads.

When I rode a motorcycle in Colorado during the winter I wore an electrically heated jacket. It turned the ride from freezing cold to toasty warm.

Finding Heated Clothing
I think Home Depot and other "big box stores" might have them.
Probably an online search would uncover other sources.
Anything we learn will be posted here.

At Amazon, typing in electrically heated clothing brings up several items. Your local motorcycle shop might stock pants, vests, and gloves along with variable controllers.

My wife's part time job is outdoors as a tourist guide. Last year I bought her an electrically heated scarf. It only lasted one day. Well it was cheap, lesson learned. This year I bought her these electrically heated insoles. They work great and she loves them! Thermocell Insoles
