On the FM Chips
It would be interesting to know
1.) Why FM chips were installed in these phones;
2.) Why the FM chips were not turned on;
The original blueprints must have gone through a process of decision making to end up with the confused product we are now talking about.

The ONLY thing I can guess is that FM radio competes against iTunes. But why they installed them to start with is the real question. Maybe to catch up with Android? Then as an afterthought have the chip not activated. |
