Fun Wreckers from Florida
Until you came along with your insensitive wrecking of the End-Fed Dipole Antenna idea it would have been a great step forward in transmitter placement and antenna near-by-ness but not anymore.
Since becoming informed on the downside of the end-fed dipole hoax there hasn't been much laughter here at the Internet Building and our chief engineer was overheard saying "shortwave is a thing of the past and we shouldn't waste our time on it. Why shouldn't we be able to keep beer in location?"
Flotilla DeGlued my impersonal assistant could be heard on a cell-phone call telling her girlfriend, "I fugure this is a place where I'll get unwanted touches, but do I have to wait 20-years before joining #METOO?
As a secular station we don't celebrate Christmas, but if we did even that would be ruined.

It seems that the model for the AM band would be different than that shown in the pdf file. I'm looking at that file as HF and VHF operation, where it's easier to get the horizontal wire off of the ground far enough to radiate efficiently.
The standard for mediumwave is the vertical over a large ground plane. I find it interesting how it only takes a counterpoise 1/10th the size of the half wave radiator to tune it up.
