Low Power Hour No. 101 is titled "Music Question." It was our intention to explore the complex subject of copyright royalty considerations involved with broadcasting and streaming, with strong guidance from the postings of Tim in Bovey on the subject, stemming from his extensive experience. However, except for brief introductory remarks at the outset of the show, we never got back to the topic. Therefore we look forward to LPH # 102 when the music question will be answered. As usual this program begins with me (Carl Blare) trying to say several things all at once, and I'm getting good at it. On the complicated matter of staying organized during the production process we asked an experienced professional, world famous Phil Hendrie, how he does it, and he told us how. Reverend Martin Luther Ray with a devotional reading from FCC Rules Part 15. Continuing with the longest interview ever done, Gary Larson's visit with broadcaster Tommy D. Mischke at KSTP in St. Paul, Minnesota, this installment covers Mischke's experience with national syndication. Heading into retirement from his "Prairie Home Companion" show on public radio, Garisson Keiler tells us "why people listen to the radio." At the end of LPH # 101 show I sort of try to explain what just took place, but wasn't sure myself, so what can you do? kdxradio.com/lpha_files/lph101_128_V1.mp3
