Holy Blessed Grace
The first thing I see when viewing the LifeTalk Radio Website is money and plenty of it. I believe in money.
It appears they have plenty of so-called "LPAM" stations in Alaska. Why not in other states? Does Alaska have a special deal for LPAM?
Take the knee with me... let's pray.
For just $250 an hour LifeTalk Radio can have an LPAM station in Missouri!
How about Texas, DHR?

Seems like maybe a small station allowance for little itty bitty towns, maybe something special they have in Alaska, where there shouldn't be massive stations jamming each other. There might be agreements because of proximity to other countries, and that AM band noise levels in Alaska must be lower since it's farther from the Equator.
I think it would be a good idea, because if you have a small town of a few hundred residents or less, why would you even need a thousand watt station to serve them? If everyone is spread within a few miles, or along the main street that's a mile long, 25 watts would do, and be easy on the power bill, and would still be an important local station for those in the area, no matter how small.
