Hello Welcome to Star-HNote From Your Author: In the haste of excitement this got posted under 'transmitters' but should have been put under 'antennas'. You are forgiven. After all, transmitters without antennas are useless. Sadly this is not an new innovation in antennas. Quite simply, it's a bi-conical dipole.

How well will it work for AM DHR? It won't. The lower frequency is 500 mHz.

I looked at it better and it looks like a WiFi antenna. I have Low Vision.
Be nice to see a high gain AM antenna. Too Bad RadioHam got run off when he showed how a Legal High Gain AM antenna on a 100 mW AM TX out performed a Pirate 7 Watt FM TX. The dude should have got a reward for it.
This is from ME a FM fan all the way. I Wanted to duplicate it in my rural area. Now we may NEVER get the plans for that antenna. What a tragedy. It would be great to have tried Album Rock with that same set up.

They are commonly used for compliance testing and the SWR curves are not flat. Hence, the need for antenna correction factors.

Ouch that's not good at the SWR isn't flat across the band.
