PART 15 STATIONS CANNOT USE CALL LETTERS OF LICENSED STATIONS
TWO call letters have been checked out and are NOT AVAILABLE.
KFCC is interesting because it contains the letters "FCC", but is licensed as a 50 Watt FM station in Mission, Texas.
KRFI is unique because "RFI" means "Radio Frequency Interference" and some people view the Part 15 Rules as the "interference rules", but belongs to a station in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, 360 Watts.
The ALPB will continue searching for un-assigned call letters for use by low power hobby stations.
