If there's a real emergency you'll take a knee.

The test went without a hitch at WCFI-LP.

But, I thought their audio sounded bad. It was over compressed, distorted.

Understandable but not pleasant.

I suppose some of that is from multiple repeats.

Question About the E.A.S. Test

What little I knew about the recent National E.A.S. Test came from a few postings on this forum.

Was the general public in any way involved in the Test? If so, as a member of the public, I never heard a word about it anywhere else.

What did the Test accomplish?

E.A.S., F.E.M.A., and A.L.P.B

To put what I know out here on a public clothes line for exhibition, the breeze causes the following thoughts to flap around:

So far as I know F.E.M.A. is relatively new (Federal Emergency Management Administration) having been established in the aftermath of 9-11.

Right now I have no grasp of how F.E.M.A. is organized, how large it is, and exactly what it's mission is, and I intend to find out and post the info here.

I do know that F.E.M.A. is featured in conspiracy theories, maybe in historically accurate accounts, we are not sure, as having intentionally disappeared black and poverty population from New Orleans post Katrina by busing them to unknown locations to never be heard from again, and providing cancer-causing formaldehyde-laced shelter trailers.

Presently with an outbreak of major disasters of historic size the corporate news media mentions that F.E.M.A. is everywhere restoring order, but reports from these scenes see no sign of F.E.M.A. or the relief being attributed to it.

For the moment, from our perspective, F.E.M.A. is more of a fiction like "God", "luck", "karma" and "fate".

Later today following a few Google searches ALPB News will return to this thread with a fuller report on F.E.M.A.

With regard to E.A.S. we realize that radio stations authorized under Part 15 have no requirement, but the A.L.P.B. tentatively believes that Part 15 stations need to be made aware when E.A.S. Warnings are in force, and it would be good if the entire public became alerted, but so far the means of reaching everyone at once are another fiction which explains why the population will probably be chipped so they can be controlled from afar.

Getting down to minutia, it would also be handy if our forum sites could also issue instantaneous and updated E.A.S. Alerts.

Attempts are being made to establish an inside contact at H.A.A.R.P. (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) in Gakona, Alaska, so A.L.P.B. can receive advance notice of tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes.
