Serious Business
Very good and important news link DHR!
The article by Fred Lundgren, owner of KCAA, is strongly stated and I would expect that many of us support his salvation plan based on using FM frequencies below the present 88.1 MHz. That's what many of us have been recommending, in our case for hobby radio, but putting AM stations there would make for good company. Just give us 87.7 and 87.9 and we'll be satisfied.
I've been a fan of KCAA for over 10 years, always seeing it as one of the better run AM stations in the Homeland. Loma Linda California I think.

I agree with the recommendation of the article about the expansion of the FM band below 88.1 like elsewhere in the world,74-108 MHZ. And yes I have posted in the past on a rant about the demise of AM radio exactly what the article says. Couldn't have said it better myself. It would be great if a couple of spots could be reserved for hobby radio so anywhere in N. America those would be open.

This may be the RIGHT TIME to comment and ask the FCC formerly for 87.7 and 87.9 megahertz to be reserve for hobby radio broadcasting and make this thing a white area instead of a gray area or black area.

Hmmm wonder if that book was written by you know who at the other site? It is interesting however how the movement for Hobby Broadcasting seems to be on the upswing.

Is It Possible That Carl Flubbed Up?
DHR noticed earlier that Carl wrote: "Somebody should right a book..."
Mister DHR responded: "Right?"
Now the spelling has been corrected. As the saying goes, "The brain is a terrible thing..."
