I have not so far seen 3D printing discussed in relation to part 15.
From what I can gather, 3D printers can roll out precision small shapes made from wax, you'd probably have to print a zillion small parts to come up with anything big, but maybe I just don't get it.
Are there any part 15 parts that could be printed in 3D?
How about a microphone?

For display, most anything can be 3D printed. I have read of a few items actually put into use. One was the receiver for an AR-15 rifle. They managed to get 6 rounds fired off before the part broke.
More remarkable, recently in the news, was the likeness of a human ear made for a child who was missing an ear. I believe the material used in the printer was some type of animal tissue.
